Innovative evaporation
mitigation technology
QUIT Evap Australia announces the release of its innovative evaporation mitigation technology, which limits the amount of water lost from farm storages through evaporation.
The technology comprises large 100sq m (10m x 10m) modular floating elements that are linked together to cover the fullest extent possible of the water surface area of the dam or storage infrastructure.
The technology is suitable for small storages with a surface area of 100sq m (0.01 ha) to large storages up to at least 50,000sq m (5 ha) in area.
The product is ‘do it yourself’ designed, which enables the farmer or owner to install it with the help of a small number of workers, thereby keeping the cost of installation as low as possible.
